Smith+Nebhew is hiring a Global Category Manager, Consultancy & Finance Services to lead the global category strategy across Management Consultancy, Audit, Financial Services, Insurance and Outsourced Services. You will partner with Finance, Legal and business leaders worldwide to shape external advisory engagements and optimise spend.

In this role you will drive complex negotiations, supplier relationships and governance while balancing risk, innovation and value creation for a globally

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing Consultancy, Professional Services, Advisory Services, Financial Services or related categories within a complex global organisation
• A proven track record of developing and executing category strategies that deliver sustainable business value and support transformation objectives
• Strong experience leading complex sourcing initiatives, commercial negotiations and strategic supplier relationships
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships across a global matrix environment

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the global category strategy across Management Consultancy, Audit Services, Financial Services, Insurance and selected Outsourced Services
• Partner with Finance, Legal and business leaders around the world to shape engagement with external advisors and service providers
• Drive strategic sourcing initiatives, complex negotiations and supplier relationships across a diverse portfolio
• Support business transformation initiatives, balancing innovation, risk management and commercial performance
