Qualifications

• Significant experience in strategic sourcing and category management with senior stakeholder engagement.
• Strong experience in Professional Services procurement (Legal Services or Management Consultancy).
• End-to-end sourcing capability across strategy, demand, supplier engagement, negotiation and implementation.
• Excellent commercial acumen balancing risk and governance.
• Proven ability to influence without formal authority.
• Strategic mindset with hands-on delivery.
• Analytical skills using market intelligence and spend data.
• Understanding of third-party risk and governance within a complex org.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end category strategy for the Professional Services sub-category.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to translate priorities into category pipeline.
• Lead strategic, high-value sourcing across the Professional Services portfolio; negotiate and implement.
• Build a forward-looking pipeline for long-term value and scalable solutions.
• Develop supplier, panel and channel strategies aligned with spend and risk.
• Shape demand, maximize commercial value, lead negotiations.
• Oversee onboarding of vendors coordinating with risk and stakeholders.
• Embed sustainability and governance across sourcing decisions.
• Leverage data analytics and digital tools to strengthen strategies.
• Support supplier risk management and regulatory governance.
• Provide procurement guidance on sourcing, vendor management and outsourcing.
• Lead through influence without formal people management.
