Job summary

Pernod Ricard is seeking a Global Category Manager for Capex & Industrial Opex to lead end‑to‑end procurement for the industrial capital portfolio and MRO activities. Based in Kilmalid, Dumbarton or Speyside, you will drive cost reduction, supplier partnerships, and strategic sourcing across global operations.

You will work with the Global Head of Procurement and Capex Leaders to align procurement models with project timelines, ensure governance, and deliver long‑term asset lifecycle value.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Industrial Capex procurement, engineering, construction, or technical sourcing environments.
• Proven ability to develop sourcing strategies and deliver measurable value through cost optimisation and supplier leverage.
• Experience managing complex capital investment procurement activities including strategic sourcing and contracts.
• Ability to operate in global environments with stakeholders across Engineering, Operations and Projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead budget & cost initiatives, monitor category budget and drive cost reduction.
• Execute category strategy with mature spending policies and cross-functional buy-in.
• Manage supplier identification, development, selection, negotiations, and performance reviews.
• Oversee high-value procurements from start to finish and ensure alignment with Capex targets.
