Job summary

SCOR is seeking an Assistant Underwriter, International Binders in London to support underwriting within delegated authorities and manage international binding relationships.

You will review enquiries from MGAs and coverholders, price and analyse risk, assist with renewals and onboarding of binders, and coordinate with claims, compliance, actuarial and wordings teams. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Underwriting experience in international markets and property lines.
• Familiar with UW systems, rating tools and reporting.
• Progress towards professional qualification is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Review, price, analyse and manage underwriting enquiries and binding authorities.
• Underwrite within guidelines of authority and handle referrals from MGAs and coverholders.
• Assist with the management and onboarding of new binding authorities and renewals.
• Liaise with delegated underwriting, claims, compliance, actuarial and wordings teams.
• Undertake pricing projections using historic loss ratios, premiums and claims data.
• Research submissions using appropriate sources and verify data integrity.
• Assist with compliance tasks such as fair value assessments and prepare reports.
