Job summary

Tencent Cloud’s Big Data team in CSIG is seeking a seasoned consultant to design and implement advanced data solutions for overseas accounts. You will showcase Tencent Cloud advantages, lead PoCs, and collaborate with product and R&D to tailor offerings for retail, gaming, fintech, and more.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in big data, strong Hadoop ecosystem skills, and proven ability to navigate cross-cultural environments while presenting, negotiating, and delivering at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS, communications, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in big data; prior Tier-1 CSP experience preferred.
• Expertise in Hadoop ecosystem and components like Spark, Flink, Elasticsearch, Doris, ClickHouse, and Trino.
• Strong knowledge of big data architecture, Data Lake concepts (Iceberg, Hudi) and serverless data.
• Familiarity with AWS EMR/Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, and Databricks; ability to perform competitive analysis.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and proposal-writing skills; English or Chinese as working language.

Responsibilities

• Understand overseas customer pain points in big data architecture and design end-to-end solutions.
• Lead technical exchanges and PoCs; articulate Tencent Cloud’s big data advantages to drive migration and upgrades.
• Bridge overseas frontline and R&D; collaborate with product, research, and post-sales teams to meet client requests.
• Influence product roadmap through international market feedback (data compliance, multi-cloud).
