Job summary

The Economist Group is seeking a Head of Event Programming for EuroFinance for a six-month fixed-term contract in London. You will lead a team of six to own content across global conferences, webinars, and closed-door events, ensuring editorial rigor, commercial relevance and high-value delegate experiences.

You will oversee end-to-end production, secure top-tier speakers, and work across Sales, Marketing, Editorial and Operations to deliver standout programmes and continuous improvement across

• Proven background in conference production, large-scale B2B events.
• Experience leading a programming team and editorially rigorous delivery.
• Ability to balance editorial integrity with commercial aims.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end production cycles and manage a team of programmers.
• Secure senior speakers including CFOs and industry leaders.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, editorial and operations from concept to post-event evaluation.
• Drive marketing support and sponsorship opportunities through strong programme copy.
• Provide on-site senior programming leadership and speaker management.
• Introduce new session formats based on stakeholder feedback.
