Job summary

LIPTON MEDIA in London is seeking an Event Operations Manager to own the end-to-end delivery of multiple international B2B conferences, with travel opportunities. You will manage budgets, collaborate with sales to optimize ROI, coordinate suppliers and staff, and ensure onsite excellence across several events annually.

The role requires strong negotiation, risk management, and experience running events internationally, with hybrid working in London. This is a 1-year contract.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering B2B conferences or expos of varying size.
• Experience negotiating with venues and suppliers.
• White glove service experience for clients and attendees.
• Ability to identify problems, research options, and implement innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end delivery of allocated events of varying size, format, and complexity across geographies.
• Work with sales to create profitable packages, identify fixed vs variable costs, and secure margins and ROI.
• Coordinate with suppliers to improve client and attendee experience at events.
• Create and implement event signage and collateral.
• Organise staffing plans including travel and accommodation bookings.
• Design and manage floor plans and space requirements for each event.
• Execute event delivery with accountability for customer journeys and onsite experience.
• Manage risk and compliance at events, including full risk assessments.
• Oversee onsite event management, briefings, staff and vendor coordination.
• Budget management for events.
