Job summary

Aggreko in Glasgow seeks a Global Asset Planning Manager to lead the strategic planning of its global fleet portfolio. You will translate demand signals into fleet, investment and deployment strategies across international markets, using SOP, forecasting and scenario modelling to ensure assets are where they are needed.

The role requires senior planning expertise, strong communication with regional leaders, and the ability to develop a small team while driving continuous improvements in planning

Qualifications

• Experienced in demand planning or integrated business planning (IBP).
• Ability to build scenarios balancing demand with asset availability and lead times.
• Strong in Excel and data-driven storytelling with dashboards.
• Experience working across international markets and complex industries.
• Leads or is ready to lead a small team and develop others.

Responsibilities

• Lead global fleet planning activities with regional stakeholders to understand demand.
• Translate forecasts into strategic fleet, deployment and investment plans.
• Build and maintain multiple planning scenarios balancing demand, assets, procurement and priorities.
• Drive CapEx planning with robust business cases aligned to growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Product Management, Manufacturing and Regional leaders.
• Optimize asset deployment across global markets and recommend transfers or redeployments.
• Present recommendations to senior directors and secure alignment across regions.
• Continuously improve planning processes, tools and forecasting methods.
