Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Global Asset Planning Manager in Glasgow to lead the strategic planning of Aggreko's global fleet portfolio. You will translate demand signals into fleet, investment and deployment plans to support international growth.

You will bring S&OP, demand planning, forecasting and scenario modelling expertise to ensure right assets are available in the right locations. Lead a small team while partnering with regional leaders and functions globally.

Qualifications

• Experience in demand planning, S&OP, integrated business planning or supply chain planning.
• Ability to convert demand signals into operational and investment plans.
• Experience in forecasting, scenario planning, capacity planning and balancing priorities.
• Comfortable building and presenting business cases including CapEx justifications.
• Strong communicator with influence across a global organisation.
• Experience working across international markets or multinational operations.
• Commercial mindset connecting planning to revenue and performance.
• Analytical and data-driven with Excel and analytics proficiency.
• Experience as a people leader or readiness to lead teams.
• Adaptable to agile planning in changing demand.

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Global Asset Planning Manager, based in Glasgow.

You'll lead the strategic planning of Aggreko's global fleet portfolio. This role sits at the centre of our global planning process, translating demand signals into actionable fleet, investment and deployment strategies that support growth across our international markets.

This is not a traditional fleet management role. Instead, you'll bring strong Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), demand planning, forecasting and scenario modelling expertise to ensure the right assets are available in the right locations at the right time to support customer demand and business growth.

What you'll do:

• Lead global fleet planning activities, working closely with regional stakeholders to understand short, medium and long-term demand requirements.
• Translate demand forecasts into strategic fleet, deployment and investment plans.
• Build and maintain multiple planning scenarios, balancing demand, asset availability, procurement lead times and business priorities.
• Drive the global CapEx planning process, developing robust business cases that align fleet investment with commercial growth opportunities.
• Partner with Procurement, Product Management, Manufacturing and Regional Leadership teams to ensure future demand can be met effectively.
• Optimise asset deployment across global markets, making recommendations on transfers, redeployments and investment priorities.
• Analyse fleet utilisation, availability, ageing profiles and performance trends to support data-driven decision making.
• Influence senior stakeholders across multiple regions, confidently presenting recommendations and securing alignment on planning decisions.
• Lead and develop a small team while fostering strong relationships with a broad network of regional fleet leaders and business stakeholders globally.
• Continuously improve planning processes, tools and forecasting methodologies as Aggreko continues to scale

You are:

• An experienced demand planning, S&OP, integrated business planning or supply chain planning professional.
• Skilled at converting demand signals into operational and investment plans.
• Experienced in forecasting, scenario planning, capacity planning and balancing competing business priorities.
• Comfortable building and presenting business cases, including investment or CapEx justifications.
• A strong communicator who can influence directors, senior leaders and stakeholders across a global organisation.
• Experienced working across international markets, regions or complex multinational operations.
• Commercially minded, with the ability to connect planning decisions to revenue generation and business performance.
• Highly analytical and data-driven, with strong Excel and reporting capabilities and experience using tools such as Power BI, planning platforms or similar analytics solutions.
• Either an experienced people leader or ready to step into a leadership position and develop others.
• Adaptable and able to operate effectively in a business where plans must remain agile and responsive to changing customer demand.
