Job description

Are you ready to shape the future of facilities management and workplace experience? We are looking for a visionary Global Technology Lead to drive our technology innovation life cycle from end to end, scouting breakthrough solutions, executing high-impact pilots, and scaling transformative initiatives worldwide.

As our Global Technology Lead, you will sit at the intersection of innovation, operational excellence, and strategic vision, taking full ownership of the entire technology life cycle. Your mandate begins at the frontier of discovery, scouting, researching, and evaluating emerging solutions such as advanced AI applications, robotics, predictive analytics, and low-code/no-code platforms tailored to revolutionise facilities management, engineering, and workplace experience. From initial ideation, you will transition seamlessly into designing, planning, and executing high-impact pilot programs, managing cross-functional teams and external partners to validate hypotheses and extract actionable operational insights.

As initiatives mature, you will lead the charge in scaling successful programs, implementing robust data collection frameworks, real-time reporting dashboards, and rigorous governance models to guarantee ethical AI use and strict regulatory compliance (including GDPR and CCPA). Beyond technical oversight, you will act as a vital bridge to executive leadership and operations teams, translating complex technical findings into compelling business value and strategic roadmaps. Furthermore, this role carries direct leadership responsibility for mentoring, developing, and empowering a high-performing team of 5 technology professionals distributed across EMEA and the US, fostering a collaborative culture deeply aligned with CBRE RISE's core values

What You'll Do
  • Lead market research, patent reviews, and industry bench marking to uncover game-changing technologies (AI, robotics, low-code/no-code platforms, and workplace tech), building robust business cases and ROI projections for adoption.
  • Design, execute, and manage cross-functional pilot programs. Track real-time performance through custom dashboards, extract actionable insights, and ensure strict compliance with data governance and privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA).
  • Translate complex technical findings into clear, strategic business value for executive leadership, operations teams, and external partners.
  • Directly manage and mentor 5 technology professionals, fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture.
  • Establish and enforce policies for ethical AI, security, data privacy, and bias mitigation while proactively managing operational and technical risks.
What You’ll Need
  • 8–12 years of relevant experience, ideally backed by a Bachelor’s Degree (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Proven expertise in talent management, including staffing, coaching, performance appraisal, mentoring, and retaining top-tier talent.
  • Exceptional ability to navigate complex, sensitive information, set clear performance expectations, and solve problems proactively.
  • In-depth knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.), paired with expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • A passion for challenging the status quo, relentless learning agility, and an unwavering commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
