Job summary

BDS Ltd. is recruiting a Screen Printing Operative to join the Print Department in North Yorkshire near Selby. You will work Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 5.00pm, 47.5 hours per week, with a 30-minute lunch break.

The role involves operating a screen printing machine on glass, performing safety checks, setting up jobs, and ensuring high-quality output while meeting production targets. Training and progression opportunities may be available.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a print production role, preferably with screen printing.
• Experience with Debuit or semi-automatic screen printing machines is beneficial.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 procedures is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safety checks on equipment and set up machines for jobs.
• Check and change screens and inks during the printing cycle.
• Inspect print quality and defects; produce samples for pre-production approval.
• Assist with machine strip down and cleaning; load and unload Lehr; meet production targets.
