Job summary

BDS Ltd, a glass screen printing specialist in North Yorkshire, is hiring a Screen Printing Operative. The role is factory-based, Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 5.00pm, with a 47.5-hour workweek and a probation period.

Starting salary is £13.22 per hour (£32,650 per year on successful probation) with £12.71 during the initial 3 months. You will operate screen printing equipment, ensure quality, and support maintenance in a busy print department.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a print production role, preferably with Debuit or semi auto screen printing machines.
• Strong attention to detail and eye for quality, both visually and physically.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Safety checks on equipment and setting up machines for different jobs.
• Check and change screens and inks during the printing cycle.
• Inspect print quality and production samples for pre-production approval.
• Support machine strip down and cleaning, loading and unloading Lehr.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet production targets.
