Job summary

BDS Ltd. is a leading provider of high-quality screen printing on glass products, delivering precision and reliability.

The Screen Printing Operative role supports the Print Department in operating glass screen-printing machines, ensuring quality and on-time production in a factory setting. Based in our Barfield area, the position offers 47.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a probation period and a starting rate aligned to the company standards.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and an eye for visual and physical quality.
• Good communication skills, for dealing with internal teams.
• Ability to organise and prioritise workloads effectively.
• A team player with a proactive attitude and hands-on approach.
• Must be enthusiastic and committed to learning new skills and working in a fast-paced efficient team environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 procedures and compliance -preferable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Safety checks on the equipment you are using.
• Setting up the machines for different jobs.
• Checking and changing the screens and inks throughout the printing cycle.
• Checking for defects, print quality and inspection.
• Producing samples for pre-production approval.
• Assisting with machine strip down and cleaning
