Job summary

BDS Ltd. is a leading glass screen printing provider based in North Yorkshire. We are seeking a Screen Printing Operative to join our Print Department and operate a screen-printing machine on glass, ensuring quality and meeting production targets.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 5.00pm (47.5 hours/week) with a three-month probation period. Salary starts at £13.22 per hour (£32,650 pa on completion) and £12.71 during probation. ISO 9001 knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a print production role. Debuit experience preferred but not essential.
• Experience with semi-auto screen printing machines is desirable.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 procedures is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Operate the screen-printing machine safely and to high quality standards.
• Set up machines for different jobs and adjust settings as needed.
• Check screens and inks, monitor print quality, and perform inspections.
• Produce samples for pre-production approval.
• Assist with machine strip down and cleaning.
• Load and unload glass pieces and meet production targets.
