Job summary

COLEMAN JAMES LTD seeks a Project Manager with a Mechanical or Electrical bias to lead on a large-scale student residential project in Glasgow. The role covers sub-contractor and direct labour management, procurement oversight, and client liaison on site.

The project is ongoing for around 18 months with a clear pipeline of future work in the region. The candidate should bring building services experience with front-end/pricing exposure and a track record of delivering complex site projects

Qualifications

• SSSTS/SMSTS certification is required.
• Trades background in Mechanical or Electrical; building services experience beneficial.
• Experience in front-end pricing and project procurement helps manage site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Management, control and responsibility of sub-contractors
• Management, control and responsibility of direct labour
• Management & review of project procurement
• Progress & planning of projects
• Client liaison attending client meetings
• Requisitioning/ordering materials / call off materials
• Checking and managing materials on site
• ITP/QA/Sign offs
• Reporting to Contracts Manager / Directors
• Site Health & Safety Issues
