Job summary

Bimplus, a well-established M&E contractor, is seeking a Project Manager with a Mechanical or Electrical bias to join the site team in Glasgow on a large-scale student residential project. The assignment runs for around 18 months with a strong pipeline of work in the region.

You will oversee subcontractors and direct labour, manage procurement and planning, ensure QA/ITP sign offs, monitor site safety, and report to Contracts Manager and Directors.

Qualifications

• Trades background in Mechanical or Electrical required.
• Experience in Building Services projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Management, control and responsibility of sub-contractors
• Management, control and responsibility of direct labour
• Management & review of project procurement
• Progress & planning of projects
• Requisitioning/Ordering Materials / Call off materials
• Checking and managing materials on site
• ITP/QA/Sign offs
• Reporting to Contracts Manager / Directors
• Site Health & Safety Issues
