Job summary

WA Consultants in Glasgow is seeking an Electronics/PCB Design Engineer for a hands-on contract role. You will work across the full design life cycle from concept to testing and production, focusing on analogue and digital circuits and PCB development.

The position involves 2-3 days per week on-site, with an IR35 Inside contract for 3-6 months. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to documentation and reviews.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electronics design and PCB development.
• Strong knowledge of analogue and digital electronics.
• Experience with PCB design tools.
• Ability to take designs from concept through prototype and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop analogue and digital electronic circuits.
• PCB schematic capture and layout.
• Support PCB design through prototype, testing and validation.
• Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/design issues.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
• Support design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
