Job summary
Matchtech in Glasgow is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a high-profile financial services programme. This on-site, 24-week contract places you in a fast-paced software engineering team focused on infrastructure improvements, automation, and cloud-based deployment capabilities across enterprise-scale environments.
You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, implement automation, and collaborate with security, operations and engineering teams to improve resilience and deployment
Qualifications
- Extensive DevOps experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance expertise.
- Hands-on infrastructure automation experience.
- Proficient with cloud technologies and modern DevOps practices.
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues.
- Collaborates across technical teams and stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of security in DevOps.
- Experience with SRE observability practices.
- Knowledge of configuration and release management processes.
- Experience with cloud-automation DevOps frameworks.
- Experience in regulated financial services environments.
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance development tools, platforms and infrastructure.
- Design and support CI/CD pipelines to streamline delivery.
- Drive infra automation to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations and security to resolve issues.
- Monitor performance and implement scalability and security improvements.
