Job summary

Stealth iT Consulting in the UK is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a permanent role in the public sector. Location offers remote work with ad-hoc monthly travel to Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle or Birmingham.

You will design, implement and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines, provision infrastructure as code with Terraform, and manage containerised deployments using Docker and Kubernetes on Azure, AWS and Google Cloud, applying DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Experience in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools.
• Hands-on containerisation with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.

DevOps Engineer - Permanent - Public Sector / Government Sector - Immediate Start

Location (Remote with Ad-Hoc Monthly Travel): Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle or Birmingham.

Salary: Up to £55,000 p/a

Clearance: Candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance, have 5 years UK residency, and the correct right to work status in the UK.

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with experience in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure and application delivery platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline development, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), containerization (Docker), Kubernetes orchestration, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, and GCP), and DevSecOps practices.

Your Role:

• Understanding of Git-based source control and modern software delivery practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and deployment issues.
