Job summary

Matchtech is recruiting an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a Glasgow-based programme on a 24-week contract, onsite Monday to Friday. This role focuses on delivering infrastructure improvements, automation initiatives, and cloud-based deployment capabilities across enterprise environments.

You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, drive infrastructure automation, monitor performance, and collaborate with engineering, operations and security to ensure resilience, compliance and secure

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a DevOps Engineer in enterprise environments.
• Advanced experience in Infrastructure Service Incident Management.
• Proven expertise designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and deployment tooling.
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production and infrastructure issues.

We're recruiting for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a high-profile technology programme with one of the world's leading financial services organisations. This is an on site role Monday - Friday in Glasgow, Scotland.

You'll become part of a fast-paced Software Engineering team, working within a critical delivery unit responsible for driving infrastructure improvements, automation initiatives, and cloud-based deployment capabilities across enterprise-scale environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on DevOps professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving operational resilience, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams in a highly regulated and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineer, you will:
