Job summary

Burberry is hiring a German-speaking HR Operations Coordinator to deliver accurate HR administration and responsive colleague experience across Burberry's European business. The role covers onboarding, contractual changes, absence and departures, working with HR colleagues to reflect Burberry's quality and care.

Based in Leeds, the position is full-time (37.5 hours) on a fixed-term maternity contract with a hybrid pattern.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR shared services, HR operations or HR administration.
• Working knowledge of HR processes and employment legislation.
• Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken.
• Clear communication and service-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage accurate HR administration across the employee lifecycle (contracts, starter records, changes, departures).
• Resolve escalated HR queries on processes, time and pay, and basic employee relations support.
• Collaborate with Employee Relations and HR Business Partners to provide guidance.
• Prepare documentation for formal employee processes within service levels.
• Use HR data and feedback to identify trends and improve service experiences.
• Build relationships with the business and support annual reward activity and HR projects.
