Job summary

French Selection UK in London is seeking a German-speaking Business Development Manager (FMCG) to drive growth across Germany, build strong distributor relationships, and expand distribution into new channels.

The role requires proven FMCG sales success, excellent negotiation and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid setup with 2 office days per week. Travel to Germany will be needed as required.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in German (written and spoken) essential.
  • Experience in FMCG sales or business development focusing on the German market.
  • Proven track record of delivering sales growth via distributor, wholesale or retail channels.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data.
  • Proactive, organised and able to work independently.
  • Passion for food and the food industry.
  • Able to travel to Germany when needed.

Overview

An exciting opportunity to drive sales growth and expand distribution across Germany by developing strategic partnerships, managing key distributors and identifying new business opportunities within the FMCG sector.

Salary and Benefits

Between £35,000 and £50,000 per annum depending on experience, plus bonus and great benefits.
