We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established geotechnical and geoenvironmental contractor for an experienced Site Engineer to join their growing team based in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer with a ground investigation contracting background looking to join a respected business offering long-term career progression, excellent benefits and a strong pipeline of projects. This is a fully site-based role, focused on the delivery and supervision of ground investigation works. There are no office-based or report writing responsibilities, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy being out on site and managing investigations from start to finish.
Supervise and deliver a variety of ground investigation projects across the UK. Organise and oversee site investigation works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and to specification. Liaise with drilling crews, subcontractors and project teams on site. Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures. Manage site logistics, equipment and daily operations. Maintain effective communication between site teams and the office. Build and maintain positive client relationships on site. Support project delivery to ensure quality standards and programme requirements are achieved.
