Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a Specialist In-Situ Testing Technician to support the Geotechnical team on national projects. You will lead CPT and pressure meter investigations, collect soil data, and ensure on-site quality and safety across multiple sites.

The role offers a flexible approach with office-based, remote, or hybrid options and comprehensive training to grow within SOCOTEC's infrastructure services.

Qualifications

• Experience with CPT testing and pressure meter investigations.
• Ability to interpret testing results and provide site records.
• Understanding of SOCOTEC health and safety rules on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead CPT and pressure meter investigations on diverse sites.
• Organise mobilisation/dem mobilisation of equipment and sites.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment daily.
• Collect water, gas and ground displacement data and samples.
