Job summary

COWI A/S is seeking a Summer Intern for 8 weeks to support ongoing geotechnical and civil engineering projects within a consultancy setting. You will assist with basic computations, ground modelling, and hazards assessment under supervision while shadowing engineers and geologists during client meetings.

You will apply your academic knowledge to real projects, develop collaboration skills, and gain exposure to a global engineering consultancy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in bachelor’s or master’s in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical, Civil Engineering or related field
• Good problem-solving skills
• Creative and technical thinker
• Evidence of research and information gathering abilities
• Interest in engineering within Infrastructure or Energy sectors
• Design coursework available if requested

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic geotechnical calculations and ground modelling under supervision
• Shadow engineers and geologists during client, contractor or discipline meetings
• Apply academic knowledge of engineering fundamentals to projects
• Gain experience in a global consultancy
