Aldwych Consulting is seeking an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer to join their South Manchester team on a hybrid basis. The role involves working across commercial, industrial, residential and infrastructure projects with site visits UK-wide.
You'll review ground investigations, design site surveys, produce interpretative reports, supervise earthworks and contribute to ground improvement and geo-environmental work while collaborating with civil and structural engineers.

I'm working with a growing multidisciplinary engineering consultancy who are looking to add an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer to their expanding Geo team in South Manchester.
The business works across a varied range of sectors including commercial, industrial, residential, healthcare and infrastructure, with the Geo team working closely alongside their Civil and Structural Engineering teams.
The role offers a good mix of office-based work, UK-wide site visits and some flexibility to work from home.

We're looking for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer with a solid grounding in geotechnical principles and consultancy experience.
Ideally, you'll have experience with:
Experience with AutoCAD, Rocscience (Slide2/Settle3) or Oasys (pDisp) would be useful, although not essential.
You’ll also need strong communication skills, a proactive approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
