Job summary

First People Solutions in Manchester is recruiting a Geotechnical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary engineering team. You will work across ground investigations, concept design through to construction support on infrastructure and building projects.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a design environment, a relevant degree, site experience, knowledge of Eurocode 7/BS, and a UK driving licence; eligibility for UKSecurity Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a design engineering environment.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in geotechnical design; including foundations, retaining structures and earthworks.
• Knowledge of Eurocode 7, British Standards and CDM regulations.
• Site experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Able to obtain UK Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Involved throughout the full project lifecycle from ground investigations through to construction support.
• Work across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and building projects with hybrid working.

Location: Manchester

First People Solutions is working with a multidisciplinary consulting engineer that is looking to recruit a Geotechnical Engineer to join its growing team in Manchester.

Working across a diverse range of infrastructure and building projects, you'll be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from ground investigations and concept design through to construction support.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of experience working within a design engineering environment
