Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer in South Manchester with a Hybrid working arrangement. You will join a growing Geo team working across commercial, residential, healthcare and infrastructure sectors.

You'll review ground investigations, design site investigations and produce interpretative reports, guiding project teams with practical technical advice and supervising large earthworks where required.

Qualifications

• Solid grounding in geotechnical principles.
• Consultancy experience in engineering environments.
• Experience with Foundations, earthworks, slope stability and settlement.
• Experience with ground investigation interpretation.
• Motivated, proactive and good communication in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Review ground investigation data and reports.
• Design and specify site investigations.
• Produce geotechnical interpretative reports.
• Provide technical advice to project teams.
• Supervise large‑scale earthworks projects.
• Carry out assessments of foundations, earthworks, slope stability and settlement.
• Work on ground improvement and natural cavities projects.
