RGB in Bristol is seeking a Geotechnical Design Engineer to lead geotechnical designs across civil projects, delivering permanent and temporary works with rigor and practicality.

You will own selected designs, prepare calculations and reports, coordinate site inspections and geotechnical surveys, and review colleagues' work while mentoring junior engineers.

The role offers a clear path to chartership with mentoring and CPD support as part of a proactive, collaborative team.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified as a graduate or intermediate engineer progressing toward chartership.
• Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Engineering Geology.
• Experience in geotechnical engineering with ownership of design delivery.
• Experience on UK projects and knowledge of UK standards and practice.
• Chartered status, or progress toward chartership, with a recognised professional body such as CEng or CGeol.
• Strong technical reporting, communication and collaborative working skills.

Aufgaben

• Deliver geotechnical designs for permanent and temporary works.
• Provide geotechnical input to civil and structural engineering schemes.
• Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies and options appraisals.
• Undertake site inspections and geotechnical surveys as required.
• Reviewing and checking designs and supporting client relationships.
• Mentor junior colleagues and collaborate across offices and disciplines.
