Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD in Burscough, Lancashire is seeking a Design Engineer to design foundation piles, retaining structures and ground improvement solutions, and to work on ground anchors and soil nail systems for UK projects. The role offers £40,000 - £49,000 plus a choice of company car or £4,730 car allowance, annual bonus, private healthcare, life assurance, pension, and ongoing CPD.

You will collaborate with project, estimating and site teams to deliver efficient, cost-effective

Qualifications

Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
Experience or interest in foundations and ground engineering.
Familiarity with piling, retaining structures, grouting, soil nails.
Experience with design software and AutoCAD; training provided.

Responsibilities

Design foundation piles, retaining structures and ground improvement solutions.
Design ground anchors and soil nail systems.
Produce efficient designs for tender and live projects.
Provide technical support to construction teams.
Prepare engineering calculations, reports and design documentation.
Collaborate with project, estimating and site teams to develop cost-effective solutions.
Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement within the design department.
