Job summary

SYSTRA UK & Ireland is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to deliver the Geotechnical Construction Phase Support (CPS) for the HS2 route. You will liaise with the technical lead, report to the Discipline lead and work with designers and contract partners to ensure successful design verification on site.

The role involves reviewing ITPs, witnessing inspections, analysing monitoring data and contributing to Geotechnical Feedback Reports, with a focus on compliance, quality and auditable records

Qualifications

• Delivery of project outcomes on time, within budget and to client specifications.
• Technical design solutions and reporting to programme and budget.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and review ITPs and identify DJV witnessing requirements.
• Represent DJV on site to witness client inspections and testing.
• Review construction records to ensure they are auditable.
• Provide technical support for FCRs and non-conformances.
• Analyse monitoring data and attend I&M meetings with the client and HS2.
• Contribute to Geotechnical Feedback Reports.
