Job summary

We’re looking for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join the delivery team on HS2, working on site across the Calvert C2 and C3 areas. This is a long-term, site-based opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer looking to play a hands-on role within one of the UK’s largest infrastructure programmes.

Based in Bicester, Oxfordshire, you will provide geotechnical support on site, review information, resolve issues during construction and ensure works align with project requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Geotechnical Engineer.
• Strong site-based geotechnical experience.
• Background within major infrastructure or civil engineering.
• Good understanding of ground conditions and geotechnical works.
• Confident working alongside multidisciplinary construction teams.
• Able to work on site in the Calvert / Aylesbury area.

Responsibilities

• Providing geotechnical engineering support on site
• Supporting works across the HS2 Calvert C2 and C3 areas
• Working closely with construction and engineering teams
• Reviewing geotechnical information and site conditions
• Supporting the resolution of geotechnical issues during construction
• Ensuring works are delivered in line with project requirements
