Job summary

Advanced Navigation in the United Kingdom seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer specialising in Geospatial Navigation to support pre-sales activities across the sales cycle. You will translate customer requirements into tailored GNSS/INS solutions, demonstrate value, and lead PoCs with the sales team.

Responsibilities include technical consultations, product demonstrations, and collaborating with product and customer success teams to ensure successful deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years in a pre-sales or technical sales role within technology.
• Strong GNSS/INS, cloud, networking, and cybersecurity knowledge.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience supporting defence, security, or government programs in EMEA.
• Familiarity with surveying, maritime, or robotic markets.
• Experience using CRM systems and Matlab for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultation and solution design for geospatial navigation needs.
• Lead product demonstrations and tailored presentations.
• Develop PoCs to validate proposed solutions and meet success criteria.
• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into actionable designs.
• Collaborate with sales and product teams to align offerings with customer needs.
• Travel to customer sites as needed for meetings and implementations.
