Job summary

WSP is seeking a Geospatial Consultant to support multidisciplinary projects in Water, Energy, Earth and Environment. You will deliver GIS outputs, develop web GIS apps using ArcGIS platforms, and manage data governance across local and enterprise geodatabases.

The role involves collaboration with stakeholders, continuous development, and occasional travel to other offices. Hybrid working in the UK is supported with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Understanding of GIS principles and data management across sectors.
• Experience in desktop and web GIS with Esri tools.
• Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Online.
• Experience configuring web apps like Experience Builder, Dashboards, 3D scenes, Survey123, and Field Maps.
• Skilled in building and automating workflows using FME Form (desktop).
• Proficient in FGDB and Enterprise Geodatabases; data integrity skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with GIS value delivery.
• Familiarity with publishing workflows to FME Flow (server).
• Working knowledge of Arcade, Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Awareness of DCOs and EIAs and how GIS informs decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver GIS outputs including spatial analysis and data management solutions using ArcGIS Pro, ETL tools, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain web GIS applications and platforms using ArcGIS Online/Enterprise.
• Ensure data integrity, governance and quality of spatial datasets.
• Design and maintain local and enterprise geodatabases for efficient storage and access.
• Deliver GIS outputs that meet standards, scope, and budget with high quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to tailor geospatial solutions.
• Share knowledge to strengthen the GIS team’s capability.
• Promote efficient working practices and value-driven services.
• Provide GIS expertise across the business as needed.
• Pursue continuous professional development and industry trends.
• Occasionally travel to other offices for business development and meetings.
