Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
• Specialism in Geography with secondary school experience.

• Ability to support mixed-ability classes, including SEND and EAL.
• Professional, adaptable and reliable approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach physical and human Geography, including climate, ecosystems, population, urbanisation and global development.
• Support pupils studying GCSE Geography and preparation for examinations.
• Plan and adapt lessons to suit pupils with different abilities and learning needs.
• Maintain positive classroom routines and manage behaviour effectively.
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Support Geography fieldwork and wider departmental activities.
