Aspire People is seeking Geography teachers to cover North Birmingham, including Erdington, Sutton Coldfield, Aston and Perry Barr. Opportunities include daily supply, short-term coverage, regular weekly bookings and longer-term teaching assignments across KS3 and KS4.

Applicants should hold QTS or QTLS, with strong Geography knowledge and the ability to manage classrooms and support diverse learners, including SEND and EAL. Flexible and reliable candidates are encouraged to apply.

Formación

• QTS or QTLS qualification.
• Specialism in Geography with secondary teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of KS3/KS4 Geography curriculum.
• Confidence teaching GCSE Geography.
• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to support mixed-ability classes including SEND and EAL.
• Professional, adaptable and reliable approach.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach physical and human Geography, including climate, ecosystems, population, urbanisation and global development.
• Support pupils studying GCSE Geography and exam preparation.
• Plan and adapt lessons for diverse abilities and needs.
• Maintain positive classroom routines and manage behaviour.
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Support Geography fieldwork and wider departmental activities.
• Deliver additional Humanities subjects where this matches your experience.
• For longer-term roles, planning, marking and department responsibilities may be required.
