Aspire People is seeking qualified Geography teachers to work across North Birmingham, Erdington, Sutton Coldfield, Aston, Perry Barr, Great Barr and surrounding areas. Roles range from daily supply to longer-term bookings, with responsibilities spanning KS3/KS4 Geography, GCSE preparation, and occasional additional Humanities teaching where appropriate.

We value strong subject knowledge, confident behaviour management and a professional, adaptable approach.

Formación

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
• Specialism in Geography with secondary school experience.
• Strong knowledge of KS3 and KS4 Geography curriculum.
• Confidence teaching GCSE Geography.
• Effective classroom and behaviour management.
• Ability to support mixed-ability classes, including SEND and EAL.
• Professional, adaptable and reliable approach.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach physical and human Geography, including climate, ecosystems, population, urbanisation and global development.
• Support pupils studying GCSE Geography and preparation for examinations.
• Plan and adapt lessons to suit pupils with different abilities and learning needs.
• Maintain positive classroom routines and manage behaviour effectively.
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Support Geography fieldwork and wider departmental activities.
• Deliver additional Humanities subjects where this matches your experience.
