Job summary

A successful secondary school in Nottingham is seeking an enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join its Humanities department from January 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT looking to join a collaborative and supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• QTS and a relevant Geography qualification.
• Experience teaching Geography at secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to supporting pupils of all abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Monitor pupil progress through effective assessment and feedback.
• Differentiate lessons to support pupils of varying abilities.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development.
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour and academic achievement.
