Job summary

Education Personnel are partnering with a Nottingham secondary to recruit a Geography Teacher for immediate start or January 2027. The role covers KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5, and requires QTS and a background in UK secondary teaching.

The position offers both full-time and part-time options with a daily rate of £130–£230, depending on experience and responsibilities, and a focus on delivering engaging geography education in a thriving department.

Qualifications

• QTS is required to teach in a UK secondary setting.
• Minimum 6 months of teaching experience in a UK secondary school.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the KS3 & KS4 Geography curriculum; KS5 teaching possible for experienced teachers.
• Plan, prepare, and assess Geography lessons in line with department policy.
• Monitor student progress and organise fieldwork modules.
• Contribute to Geography department improvement planning.
• Attend staff meetings, CPD, and parents' evenings as required.
