Job summary

Astrea Academy Trust is seeking a Regional Lead Practitioner for Geography to support our Cambridgeshire Secondary Schools and continue delivering high-quality Geography teaching.

You will lead on curriculum design, teacher development and targeted interventions, while remaining in the classroom to teach and inspire students. This role offers collaborative work with the Secondary Education Team and Trust-wide knowledge-rich approaches.

Responsibilities

• Raise KS4 Geography achievement through excellent lessons and specialist support.
• Support the design and implementation of an exceptional KS4 curriculum.
• Provide subject-specific curriculum expertise to the Astrea Secondary Curriculum Team.
• Lead on the improvement of scholar outcomes and teaching standards.
• Manage high-quality leadership of projects and targets.
• Secure exceptional scholar outcomes across the Trust schools.
• Support curriculum development, resources and policies with other Regional Lead Practitioners, National Subject Leads, and Heads of Department.
