Job summary

Vertical Recruitment Limited in Nottingham is seeking a Geo-Environmental Engineer with around three to four years of experience to take ownership of projects from desk studies through reporting, remediation and validation.

You'll work across site investigation, land contamination and geotechnical design within a growing multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, enjoying hybrid working, a competitive salary and clear opportunities to progress.

Qualifications

• Three to four years of geo-environmental engineering experience.
• Strong technical writing skills and a full UK driving licence.
• Experience with HoleBASE SI and Surfer is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare desk studies, site appraisals and land contamination assessments.
• Plan and manage site investigations, then interpreting the results.
• Produce remediation strategies, validation reports and technical assessments.
• Undertaking human health and controlled waters risk assessments.
• Contributing to foundation design and, where experienced, settlement and slope stability assessments.
• Managing project scope, programme and budget while working with colleagues across other engineering disciplines.
