Rehlko in the United Kingdom is seeking a hands-on Workshop Generator Engineer to maintain, service, and prepare diesel generators for deployment. Based in our busy workshop, you will diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and ensure all equipment meets safety and quality standards before leaving the depot.

This role demands strong mechanical and electrical capability, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and with the wider engineering team.

Formación

• Experience with diesel generators or similar plant.
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Knowledge of control panels and generator systems advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair of diesel generators.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults with tools and software.
• Complete pre-hire inspections to meet quality and safety standards.
• Prepare equipment for deployment to customer sites.
• Conduct load bank testing and performance verification.
• Maintain service records and compliance documentation.
• Ensure workshop activities meet ISO standards.
• Support continual improvement in reliability and efficiency.
• Assist with organization and stock control.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams for timely delivery.
