Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Generator Engineer (Electrical) for a field-based role across the South of England, covering patches from Luton to the coast. You will service, maintain and commission generators at client sites, with a focus on fault finding on control panels.

The role offers £45,000–£50,000 base salary with OTE up to £67k, overtime paid at 1.5x, door-to-door pay, a bonus scheme and progression into supervisory and management positions. Monday–Friday, 8:00–16:30.

Qualifications

• Electrical background required.
• Experience as a Generator Engineer is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Cover a South England patch from Luton down to Portsmouth.
• Servicing, maintaining and commissioning generators at client sites.
• Fault finding on control panels and associated electrical systems.
• Monday to Friday, 8am – 4:30pm (40 hours per week); overtime available at 1.5x.
