Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Ltd are seeking a Generator Engineer for a power generation business in the Portsmouth area. Salary £38,000 - £40,000 with overtime available. You will service, maintain and repair diesel generators, carry out installations and commissioning on customer sites.

The role requires 18th Edition, strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills, and experience with Deep Sea Controllers. You will diagnose faults and perform planned preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.

Qualifications

• Experience working on diesel generators.
• Strong knowledge of Deep Sea Controllers.
• Experience with generator installations.
• 18th Edition qualification.

An established power generation business is looking to recruit an experienced Engineer to join their service team.

About your new Generator Engineer role:

• Service, maintain and repair a range of diesel generators.
• Carry out generator installations, commissioning and fault diagnosis.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on customer sites.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Previous experience working on diesel generators.
