Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Generator Engineer to service, maintain and repair diesel generators across customer sites as part of a field service team.

The role includes installations, commissioning and fault diagnosis with a requirement for strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills. On-call rota and overtime opportunities complement a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience working on diesel generators.
• Strong knowledge of Deep Sea Controllers.
• Experience carrying out generator installations.
• 18th Edition qualification.

An established power generation business is looking to recruit an experienced Generator Engineer to join their field service team.

About your new Mobile Generator Engineer role:

• Service, maintain and repair a range of diesel generators.
• Carry out generator installations, commissioning and fault diagnosis.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on customer sites.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Previous experience working on diesel generators.
• Strong knowledge of Deep Sea Controllers.
• Experience carrying out generator installations.
• 18th Edition qualification.
• Good electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
