Job summary

Searchability in the United Kingdom is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build and deploy AI agents that automate business processes and interact with company data.

You will work with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG and API integrations to develop intelligent applications that support teams across Chester-based operations.

The role offers exposure to Azure, Claude Code and agentic AI frameworks, with a collaborative environment to grow your technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing AI agents or LLM-powered applications.
• Strong knowledge of Generative AI, prompt engineering and RAG.
• Experience with Python, SQL and API integrations.
• Cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure.
• Building AI workflows that interact with databases and business systems.
• Understanding of AI testing, evaluation and deployment into production environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy AI agents that automate business processes and interact with company data.
• Work with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG and API integrations to develop intelligent applications across the organisation.
• Take AI solutions from requirements through production, ensuring accuracy, reliability and scalability.
• Contribute to testing AI outputs, improve agent performance, and explore new technologies to support AI strategy.
