Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a General Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Blackheath, South East London. You will support the class teacher with day-to-day activities, help pupils learn and stay inclusive.

The ideal candidate holds Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification, is available five days a week, and has an Enhanced DBS. This role offers ongoing opportunities through a trusted education recruitment partner.

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Be available to work 5 days per week, Monday to Friday.
• Have an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service.
• Have previous experience supporting children in a primary school setting.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Be reliable, enthusiastic and committed to supporting children's learning.

Responsibilities
