Job summary

Staffline is recruiting General Support Operatives in Coventry to join our manufacturing team. This is a full-time position with a rotating pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off, including 4 nights on 4 days off. The rate of pay is £13.10 per hour, with paid lunch breaks after 12 weeks.

Shifts run from 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am, and there is on-site support from Staffline. Applicants should be confident communicators with a positive attitude, basic maths and computer skills, and the ability to work as

Qualifications

• Basic maths, reading and computer skills.
• Confident communicator with a positive, self-motivated attitude.
• Ability to work as part of a production team.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that machines are operated in a safe manner.
• Communicating with management on operational efficiencies and productivity on the production lines.
• Operating the production line, ensuring quality control and food safety.
• Managing a team of general support operatives in your area of work.
• Completing checks and paperwork for products in production and uploading data on tablets.
• Managing the line rotation, break cover and related duties.
• Ensuring the area is clean with strong housekeeping in line with company standards.

The rate of pay is £13.10 per hour.

This is a full-time role working on a rotating shift pattern, 4 days on 4 days off, 4 nights on 4 days off.

The hours of work are:

• 6am to 6pm
• 6pm to 6am

Paid lunch breaks after 12 weeks

Your Time at Work

• Ensuring that machines are being operated in safe manner
• Communicating with management on operational efficiencies and productivity on the production lines.
• Operating the production line, ensuring that quality control and food safety is a priority.
• Managing a team of general support operatives in your area of work.
• Completing the relevant checks and paperwork for the products in production and uploading data on tablets.
• Managing the line in terms of job rotation, break cover etc.
• Ensuring the area is clean and strong housekeeping in line with company standards.

The above lists are not exhaustive, and you will be required to complete other duties on behalf of the customer.
