General Cover Teacher – Secondary School in Telford
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Telford, Shropshire
Salary: 90 - 130 per day (DOE)

We are looking for a flexible and reliable General Cover Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Telford. The role is to start ASAP and will involve covering lessons across various subjects when teaching staff are absent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an adaptable individual who enjoys a varied and dynamic workday.

Responsibilities
  • Provide cover for absent teachers across a range of subjects.
  • Supervise and manage classrooms to ensure students remain on task.
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher, ensuring students stay engaged.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Support students with their work and offer help when needed.
  • Report any issues or concerns to the relevant staff members.
