North Yorkshire Council’s Whitby Pavilion is seeking relief front-of-house staff to join its events team in Whitby, North Yorkshire. You will scan tickets, usher guests, perform pre-show checks and manage entry at concerts and events.
In this flexible, casual role, duties include cash handling, stock monitoring, site safety, and assisting the Duty Manager. A proactive, customer‑focused approach and COSHH/Health & Safety awareness are essential.

Join North Yorkshire Council’s operational team at one of our many multiuse venues, which host a wide variety of exciting events year-round. In this frontline, customer facing role, you will help deliver a first-class visitor experience. Your daily duties will include scanning tickets, ushering guests, performing pre-show checks, selling ice cream, and resolving ticketing queries.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team on a flexible, casual basis. These relief-hour roles are perfect if you want to work on an ad-hoc basis around your existing commitments.
